I wanted to write this post from a long time, but I was unsure if the idea would be appreciated or not.
Today, I decided to try, and so here it is: The Perfect Theme – by PiZero.
But where it is, that "Perfect" Theme?
Well, it is still not ready for release, and not even in developement.
In fact, the "Perfect Theme" – maybe a little pretentious name, but i didn’t know how to call it otherwise – is a theme that will be made following user’s ideas and votes.
The main idea is to ask a question to my readers, each week, and make a poll to decide the answer, that will determine the main aspects of the Perfect Theme.
Week after week, the theme will be built follwing reader’s votes, the poll results will determine the winning feature. For example, I will be asking the background color, the subject, highlights, clock, icons.
I know it will take months to have the theme ready, but I hope it will be, for the majoriity of you, the best possible theme for Symbian.
Also, people will be able to suggest features and give ideas with their comments, and if I like them, I could implement them in the release.
What do you think, do you like the idea?
I think, a theme is an art's work, not a democratic work…

Hm.. seems to me like a good idea, but I think the implementation is wrong. I don't thing that having lots of polls over time is a good idea, because people might get tired at some point. The good idea, in my opinion, would be to make one big poll (maybe offsite — i think there are sites that allow you to make your own survey) and run that for a while (a month? two?) and see the results. It's just my idea, I'll try to not get tired and keep voting in your polls
good up to some extinct and even if emerges as a mistake it would not matter. it is for which i say..
“i have not leart ay thing in my life without creating mistakes and i am still learning..”
i think a perfect theme should be simple and practical… objective… direct… usefulll!
like the stealth or something like that, but with more icons and informations.. =P

Your idea is good and if you planning to do that, you should listen every suggestions, and here is my suggestion:
I will write about one particular feature. When a notice window opened, like when you lock the keys, its gradient shouldn't be light color at the top, dark color at the bottom (bad example: reflex remix). Because when it is light-at-the-top, the backgruond is also lightened. This looks lke as if the screen has dirt on it and the light colored background reflects on the colored notice window.
I really think you should gradient upside-down. It looks more crystal-clear. And I think you should create a theme looks crystal-clear

it's a nice idea to try
. i don't think there will ever be a perfect theme that will appeal to everyone, anyway it's a matter ot personal taste. and trying to build such a thing will take months and months abd still aot of people will just find a defect somewhere.
still, it's nice to try, especially by the hands of a master themer like Pizero.

Perfect theme should be pratical with a big clock, calendar , date, and a small place to put may favorite image( Photo)
the same art/design isnt perfect for everyone…&…”Simple and Clean” isnt great for everyone

While I appreciate all that you do for the community, I don't think a theme created by all users ideas and suggestions would be a good. In the design industry, this is called “Frankensteining” or “design by committee,” it never quite works out. Cool idea though to mention it here. Who knows, maybe it will turn out something decent. Hopefully you'll prove me wrong.
I like how everyone has their own tastes and that not every theme will please every user.
In any case, keep up the great work.

That is great idea! I am looking forward how it will look like, but personally I must agree with Felix that one big Poll will be better implementiation of this idea than many little polls.
