Hi! Today we are talking of the Perfect Theme Project, the project to make a theme based on the suggestions and votes from PiZero.net Users.
The First Poll about the "Perfect Theme Project" of last week, is telling that over 94% of you seem to like the idea of a theme built on user’s wishes and votes.
So, let’s get started!
The first thing that I must know before starting with the theme developement is the subject of that theme.
I wanted to know if you’d prefer a theme on an abstract subject, (like, for examples Spectrum, or Reflex remix), or if you prefer a theme made for an actual photography or landscape graphics (for example, Penguins, or Summertime). The third possiblity would be a theme based on a brand or logo subject (For example, like Beijing 2008, or Gucci), and the fourth would be a character/cartoonish subject (Like Simpsons, Futurama, or like the Screeam!!! Theme):

Well I believe, nature and abstract would be better.
Very well dear PiZero I like your new idea of asking us very much.
I think that if you want a theme to make the “perfect theme”, you should design him like this, that It will look exspensive, it can change backgrounds and still look uniform. (something like the 'new style' theme but better designed).
That way you could combine all of the subjects in one perfect theme.
It is really a good idea, for you to create a theme based on your fans' suggestions!
my suggestion for the perfect theme is to add animations, like an error animation and animation when locking the keypad and animation for OK, etc.
the animations are the missing factor in your lovely themes.
I like the PIZERO banner (the top background on your forum) with colored flowers..

The only thing that your themes miss for being perfect is the missing of UIDs of applications and folders of E-series and non-N95 menus (N96,N81….)
I only voted for abstract because i was hoping the theme would be a 100% SVG one.
but if you could take the effort to vectorize the other categories, then any subject is ok for me.
that's just me though. =p
well in my opinion it should base on wildlife,not the pictures of whole animals but just the markings, such as stripes of a tiger, zebra, cheetah dots, snake skin etc. and they should be real. and not to mention icons should be contrast or prominent.
Abstract I like most. Idea is good, but it should happen more faster, not just once a week. Otherway it will take months to finish. How about your Stealth theme with the icons, PiZero? =)

I agree with Amir G. A theme that you could change the background, the colors and other things would be fantastic. I don't if it is technically possible, but it'd be awsome if so. And congratulations for your new website look Pizero. You're doing a great job and you have the best themes!!!

Abstract is a better option, since it can be used for a longer period than any other.
I hope the abstract is completely different from the run of the mill kinds…. also I hope that almost all the elements in a theme can be changed.

Abstract / functional ?
I imagine you investigate any theme type on functionality combined with ease of use, especially with the rather small screens we have on our mobiles. Think about the first screen, where some text about schedule, wlan, etc is defaulted. A busy theme on these spots disturbs the clear view on the information and font on it. Then, a very close look is needed to see what is on the screen, on distance 80cm it often is not possible to recognise. But it is a very common distance for using the phone. (yes, listening IS closer
What about font enlargements ?
What about some animation ? Aere you able to do something like that ?
One other factor is the “show-off” factor. To let someone else see that yours is a very interesting theme, it should make one curious, is there more is behind the first screen ….? WOW, colous change slightly there, icons are spread on another way here….
Designing some more icons would be good, now. You have beautiful Icons, but i think that there is more to develop there. For instance, if you have a cartoon theme, iconise accordingly. With Nature, same, but only on clear recognizable icons, Not a miniature, some enlarged detail is better, (some grass, few drops, flowerseed etc, choose any wellknown icon/symbol we have at hand, look at airport, where signs are used as icon…, in traffic..)
And then the colours….You really have a very good taste, but look once at the contrast work which Gnokkia realized with the red theme from contest …
Strange but true, the contest winner has made a very interesting theme, but it is for a phone 15cm high, 10 cm width…. In fact, on our small displays, it is not usable.

dear pizero i loved ur idea very much and belive me it came to me before 1 year ago but unfortunatly i dun know how to make themes like u….firs i suggest the theme will be about abstract ….and the icons new not the traditional that u put in ur themes and i hope u make theme animated to fit for the new n series like n78 and the others ……..u know better.and i prefere it wont be dark theme i mean it will be lightened a little and the callers name will be clear not the same color as the same as it's color.mmmmm i think if u make it very high resolution it will be better i mean the theme background….finally thank u for ur great efforts
