But personally, I don't find Nokia phones to be outstanding in neither hardware or software.

However, I did not want to say that the iPhone is bad. If I could afford
having 2 hi-end phones at the same time, I would have bought it last summer,
because it has some really good features. But, as I wrote in the post below,
I think Nokia has some overall better features, and it performs better under
many aspects. If you read older posts in the symbian section, you will find
that i'm really not a fanboy. Only, as this website is related to Nokia, I
prefer talking about their phones. I really appreciate the company, and I
wish they could implement the good features that we see in other phones, as
long as the basic features offered by Nokia phones are impossible to
replace, for me. So I prefer to have a little less innovative device,
instead of accepting to miss some basic features.

Yeah, but the iPhone is only one phone whereas the N-series line has many different models. That's not a fair comparison.

Yes, it is missing out on many basic features, but how can you say MMS and video calling is more useful than an app store? The app store basically allows for great potential usefulness for the iPhone, while video recording and MMS can only go so far.

Are you serious? The iPhone is very critically acclaimed. It may be the “cool” thing to have, but it's not bad by any means. You're making unsubstantiated claims that the iPhone is bad, just because it's the hot thing to have.

Also, how are N-series phones more professional than the iPhone? The N-series are multimedia phones. At most, they're equally unprofessional. But professional users still use the iPhone, because it now has Exchange support, etc.

I find my statement of Nokia being behind to be pretty objective. Nokia hasn't come out with a touchscreen phone until now, and their phone resolutions are only 320×240/240×320, even on the N-series, and the N96 is even advertised as being able to play videos. Sure, but it's not worth it on such a tiny screen.

Also, I have told you that I'm not an Apple fanboy. I don't have or even want an iPhone. I do not own any Apple products. And I posted my original comment on my Nokia N78. I'm just expressing my disappointment in Nokia, because I thought they could do better than this, and I'm not the one to bring up the iPhone comparison: you mentioned it in your post, and I was merely responding to it.

However, in older posts, I too complained Nokia for using an old-type
touchscreen, instead of a multitouch one.
