N96 for preorder, but…. at a very high price!
Steve Litchfield on All about Symbian tells us today that the new Nokia N96 can be pre-ordered (meaning that it will be shipped at the time it is released) trough Expansys Uk. That sounds pretty good, meaning that the release date of the new flaship of Nokia is approaching. But if only you had the idea to pre-order it now, you should know that it’s not going to be cheap: 700 Uk £, meaning 875 Euros, or 1400 US $.

New N-series phone Nokia N85 to come at the end of year?

The Kastor UI by TAT to be included in next Nokia Firmwares?
Many Weblogs are reporting today some rumors about the implementation uf TAT’s Kastor UI in the next firmware updates of the Nokia N95-1.
But what is the Kastor Ui? Simply, it’s an User Interface with advanced animated transitions in 3d, that would completely change (and improve) the feel of the S60 interface. Just take a look at this video:
Nokia Music for PC beta now available for download
Just today Nokia Beta Labs released the first beta of the Nokia Music Client, a PC application that can be used to buy, manage, listen music on PC and then transfer it on your Nokia mobile phone.
Nokia Music for pc can be considered Nokia’s response to Apple iTunes. The first version, that’s out today, is still an “early beta”. It can be used to manage your PC music collection, listen to it (of course), and tranfer it on your mobile device.
About the “Expired Certificate” problem
Some Users reported, in the last days, that they can not install my older themes, the first themes that were published on this blog. They seem to get an “expired certificate” error that prevents from installing the themes.
The problem is well-known and refer to the expiration of the certificates that I used to sign the *sis files last year. The Certificates that I got from SymbianSigned were valid over an year only. But there’s a solution.
