Pizero Design di C.M.

The Pizero Design company is the creation of Michele Cerreta, a self-made designer that, under the name of “Pizero”, has delivered the impressive number of over 20 million free themes in over 180 countries. Michele started the Pizero.net website in may 2007 to share his creations with the world: the project quickly obtained a great success, counting over 3000 unique visitors each day a few months after opening. Pizero’s creations were (and still are) considered an improvement over manufacturers default themes, looking great without loosing clarity and readability.

After releasing his award-winning “New Gold” theme, that set the “gold standard” of custom themes for Symbian (All About Symbian, 2008), featuring a design that is still being copied by others 3 years later, “Pizero” was featured on the most important specialized online press and magazines. In late 2008, Pizero Design started its activity to deliver professional and high quality themes to his clients for personal, commercial and marketing uses. In 2009 Pizero Design was invited, upon the first developers, to join the Ovi Store marketplace as a Premium Publisher. In 2010, Pizero Design released its first iPhone App, called Elite Walls PRO, and continued providing free and premium themes, as well as freelance works. In 2011 Pizero Design reached the 10 million downloads mark in Nokia Store, being one of the 10 best publishers for Nokia. The creator of Pizero Design, Michele gained a special mention for his results on the most important financial and business newspaper in Italy, “Il Sole 24 Ore”. A few months later, Pizero Design reached the 20 million  downloads milestone, and expanded its business with new apps and themes for iOS, Android, WindowsPhone and BlackBerry.
